Was in Kyoto/Osaka recently.. Yodobashi & Bic Camera have more variety esp the former. Tokyo Hands have also, but the stocks not appealing.

I see! I am looking to get something specifically from Tokyu Hands actually...waiting for someone to go there hehe. :D

I've personally never been to JPN before. If not for accommodation factors, I would have booked a trip to JPN instead of Perth (in 2 weeks time).

well done! Mid-section a little loose, but some minor adjustments should make it ok. :s12::s12:

This piece can be and IS a pain in the ass to make. Especially when fitting the head onto the body.Too much pressure...and the whole thing comes falling apart.

Good job!

It's not the speed la...just take your time and enjoy the building process and watching the beauty of the building spring to life as you complete it.

Try using an ice-cream stick or other flat long tool to add some support from underneath as you place the next layer on. This should allow you to apply sufficient pressure from the top.

A bit off track question, has anyone seen the Nanoblock fakes at TBS? What are the prices for each? I was thinking of buying one for a thrill.

WUT. haha...aiyo....the SCHLOSS?
:(:(

Was just talking to Stevie (aka justmeasure) about this.. I don't have extra $$ for this but I think someone may like it.

nanoblock Tokyo Sky Tree DELUXE EDITION nanoblock : PLAMOYA

Super cheap for the market now!! ~S$300 with EMS only, hoho. This is the first version, fyi. Heard from Stevie now market about 400ish..

haha...yes. it's a good price. a gem of a find. it's a discontinued piece. Albeit I must say version2 does look nicer. Not just for the side-mall but the general structure itself.

thanks for the tip! i'll try and see how it goes this weekend. really hope that i won't end up pulling out my hair while i'm at it.

i find that the biggest 'problem' trying to build skytree is the slanted pieces..it's like if you don't tilt them in the particular direction needed then the whole thing goes haywire.

Patience haha...

I get what you mean. What I did to resolve this was. to join the top piece and bottom piece (i.e. joining more than 1 step) together first and push it against the floor/hard object to "flatten" the thing, so that I know where the edge slanted towards, and then place it on the main structure. It did provide a better shape for me.
