try using hair dryer to heat up the tag as u remove, will be easier ;)

i wanted to collect those sight-to-see series, but give up on the idea cos like too huge a project to commence on, and no $ hahahaha.

Nanoblock seems cheap at first but once you start, it is a very expensive hobby...maybe should buy the standard color, basic color, clear color and monotone set to save and money and occasionally buy a few mini series for some other colors not found like ponk flamingos for the pink color...

I think abit too late, I kinda screwed up on the tag :o shall attempt on the tap-stick-on-tap method. I'm collecting sight-to-see series now, till my interests for nanoblock dies off, which is not anytime soon.

Don't assume buying the colour sets and try looking for instructions will save you money, unless you know nanoblock design inside out.

Kawada has made Lego-ish parts in recent kits for some reason so it is impossible to get the exact same model with colour sets only.

A good example of this is the Sydney Opera House kit; it has a lot of slop blocks.

Your CKS was the limited first 500 one. I got one, but without the sticker.

As much as I hate this, I'm having a feeling that Kawada is somehow going towards the lego idea. Think that's one of the easier ways to "preserve" their instructions exclusivity.

That is so not cool...maybe that's the only way that they think they could make money...Even than, I would still buy the sets and use it to create my own models for fun...I would still purchase those that I like...I am not into collecting every single piece of a series...so that is still fine with me...

Let's not jump into conclusions that they are doing it to stop people from getting free instructions.

As the saying goes, if you want to make something, do it the hard way.

Which blocks to build cockatiel

May I know which ready packed nanoblock can I use to build a cockatiel? The normal package of cockatiel is not readily available at reasonable price... so I thought of building it myself.
Thks in advance for advice:o

Nanoblock Store @ Tokyo Sky Tree Exclusive

Normal release

The normal release should be pretty common? no?
And...I don't think I have encountered a case whereby the same set of bricks can make two different kind of kits....

You are prob gonna need something with white and yellow, and in small qty orange and beige..but even if you can find one with the same colours...the number of the required type of bricks might not be sufficient. Your best bet is still to buy the cockatiel directly...unless they have discontinued it and it's sold out everywhere. Highly doubt it though...prob still can find a few of it sitting around.

Edit: By not being available at a reasonable price...how much was that unreasonable price? and where?

which cockatiel are you looking for...
the Skytree exclusive (grey body) or the standard release? (white and yellow head)

20+US for the one with the skytree exclusive is considered reasonable.
For the standard release...you just got to hunt around. Maybe not in Singapore, but in maybe HK.
