hello people who got their Nexus 6p. do you all use the C-C cable (Rapid Charging) to charge all the time? Or alternate between A-C?

i'm only using a-c to charge with a normal 5V/2.0A charger. No need for c-c quick charging since the battery life can last me one day of use.

C-C when I'm home. A-C when I'm in school.
But battery life is pretty good since I'm either always at home or in school thus using very little data

With regard to 3A chargers, does this mean we can use non-compliant cables with 3A chargers? Since 3A charger can supply the necessary juice to the phone...

Or will cable burn up cos too much heat? Questions, questions...

i paid S$1.30 for 0.25m cable
&
S$2.20 for 1m cable

Bought 2x 0.25m
2x 1m cable

Total shipping for 4 cables = $1.99 using 65daigou ship-for-me service
have not factor in shopback + CC discount yet

Oh shipping using 65daigou is only $2 SGD for 4 cables? wow that is cheap!

if it's just simple cable heating up, you'd surely be able to test it right.. just connect to the charger and feel the cable once in awhile.

So far I hear of chargers dying but haven't heard of cables burning yet.

There was another guy who apparently used his 3A charger with non-compliant cable for a whole week with no issues. If you want to try, just exercise some common sense to test the first time charging before charging unsupervised

65daigou shipping by air is $1.99 per 500g
shipping by sea is $1.50 per 500g.

Maybe can ship more than 4 cables for the 500g

update: the weight for 4 cables (2x 0.25m, 2x 1m) is 70g when daigou keyed in their system
