You can't swap electives for other electives. You can only swap index for index. They changed the system last year

It is now impossible to swap indexes from different electives but possible if you already have the index of this elective and you want another index from the same elective.

So, please do not ask for: "Hi guys I have ABCXXXX elective with index 000123 and I am looking for another elective DEFXXXX elective with index 000789."

Instead, you are only able to ask for: "I have ABCXXXX elective with index 000123 and I am looking for index 000456 of the same elective ABCXXXX"

i currently have 15AUs and wanted to make it 18AUs by adding one course during add/drop, but the system says under remarks"Not Added.
You must not exceed the maximum number of AUs allowed !"

Why is it so when i have only 15Aus currently? Pls help..
