U can sli any 1080, regarding of brand or custom cooling.

Do note that the new HB SLI bridge is not flexible like the old SLI connector so you may not be able to SLI two cards of different height. The new SLI bridge is not cheap. I read a web article which tested both the old & new connectors and found negligible difference but I'm guessing that won't deter users from getting it, especially when it looks so good with the LED lighting
