for newer titles?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceiWK8gRfQY
seems like spending a huge bomb on titan x pascal but cant even hit 60 frames in 4k. seems like not worth spending almost double cost from a gtx 1080 perspective.
from that video, coincidentally comparing the titan x with the zotac amp extreme 1080 which i am using, paying like roughly 1k sgd more for extra 6 to 10 frames in 4k....
for newer titles?
or for all titles?
i dont know. seems like some of the famous aaa titles i think. so small perf diff in real world.
then no pt getting titan x
paying $1000 more for 3-6fps lol

but maybe in 4k, 6 to 10 fps matters, not too sure..

hope the coming 1080ti can run fps at 144 for 4K monitor. Then 144hz, 4k,gsync monitor will sell like hot cakes lol
Problem is does the ti even existing....?![]()

Looking at the ridiculous price gap between the 1080 and TXP, it might![]()
they'll probably release a 1080Ti , priced @ 899.99 ...
just to fill the price gap 699-1200...![]()
Might be. But if AMD dont come out anything then probably nothing liao.
Just like how 980ti existed because AMD came out a Fury X.
Just like how 780ti existed because AMD came out a 290x.
This time round if AMD is targeting high, then their RX490 better level the 1080. Else i dont think Nvidia will bother. And from the looks of it, damn hard. Considering that the 480 is no where near the 1070 level. Unless their 490 got magic.
If nothing on AMD side, then it might be back to the good old days, perhaps a dual 1080 in single pcb.
