Actual price that you paid should be $826? Because your liveup 8%( $50 which you can only use in the next Lazada purchase)) and shop back visa was in the form of rebate and not direct discount?

Really depends on how you look at it. Liveup rebates can be used to purchase anything on Lazada, and Lazada basically sells almost everything. It's not like some $50 challenger voucher or audiohouse ******** voucher with all sorts of random conditions.

I'm planning to buy a carton of beer later, which instead of paying $x for it, I'll use my liveup rebates. So essentially liveup rebates to me is as good as a straight discount.

See the comparison here.

Thanks for the link. Guess it’s not that huge then. Anyway is the phone price in the screenshot ok? Comes with 1yr local warranty by oneplus itself. After disc $849

Or i should just get export set and no worries about repairs and stuffs.

Sorry, I really can't advise on that... I've bought multiple export set, Lumia 1520, Lumia 950XL DS (pre-owned), Cube WP10, Nokia 8, Xiaomi Mi 6, Xiaomi Mix 2, Xiaomi Max 2, Xiaomi Mi Pad2 and the Oneplus 6. Many of these devices already over a year, none giving any problem yet (touch wood), I still own all these devices (except Lumia 1520 trade-in to telco) to date.

I think if you plan to use the phone for at least 1-2 years and the price difference between local and export isn't really that much (< $100), it is better to get a local set, otherwise save the money for some good cases and screen protector.

I'm not too sure about the local support for OnePlus devices, if the support is poor it is as good as no support, then just get the export set.

My main concern is the customer support. I had regrets getting local xiaomi devices. Thier customer support is as good as nothing. should have bought an export set back then.

Hmm. What i have found in qoo10,lazada,shopee those export prices doesnt have huge margin compare to what I have local srt at $849.

I will do consider in getting the local if the export price is merely the sams.

Still need others opinions. ;)

Gotten a OnePlus 6.

So far it's smooth and buttery.

Really nice.

Camera is good not great.
Should have gone with stereo speakers.
Some rating would be good.

Other than that. Overall worth the money.

There's a stereo speaker mod if you root your phone, and get the GCam mod for camera, and done!
