i see a lot of whining on that thread and a lot of users that could be user problems. but having said that, there seems to be quite a few people with real issues, like the software still has quite a few bugs

yeah seems like it. hope oneplus fixes the issues with their OTA updates. keep seeing the dot issue where users are complaining on why more icons cant be fit on their notification panel on the top right. have to drag down to see the rest of the icons. notch being a real burden here

These people don't know how Android Notification bar works.

Did you read the thread? Their issue is the 3 dots on the right side, along with the signal bar etc. Not 3 dots on the left side.

Yes. Let me explain, it cannot be on the left cause they have moved the Time over to the left side intentionally to free up space on the right. So part of the left is for system leaves only at most 2 more icons before it will overflow.

The right side is mostly for SYSTEM icons, things like battery, signal, wifi, Bluetooth and maybe alert settings will be there. Naturally, you cannot squeeze everything with a notch in there. ( Learn from the Master, Apple only has 3 Icons present on the right.

So any more it will have to overflow and since that is bad design it becomes the 3 dots. Likely that icon there is your alarm that you've set.

Eventually, both sides can and will have the 3 dots once it overflows of icons

So it's not user problem right? It's how OP design it. Coz you said those people don't know how Android notif works.

All phone hv issue lah...if its software, will b fine. OP will update sw much much frequent to others

This one i not very sure. Have to ask seller. But my guess is that it's a China set. Have to flash to OxygenOS. The seller should be able to do it for u.
