You need Wifi and bluetooth turned on for Battery saving mode for GPS to work. Or at least enable Wifi and Bluetooth scanning.

Are those enabled?

The OnePlus software is lau yah lah. I think their team is inexperienced and fire-fights only.

From v5.1.6, 5.1.7 till now v5.1.8 still have issues as reported over its forums like fast battery draining, call droppings etc

How to buy, huh?

:s8:

Funny thing is this guy don't even own the phone, based on some comments on forums from Indian users claim software is "Lau ya".

:s8::s8::s8::s8::s8:

Quote back my comment from long ago to this guy (lol)

Dont be so naive, think of how many units are sold worldwide, in India/UK/USA etc. There are probably millions of units sold versus hundreds of "complaints" in the OnePlus forums, some of which are repeated users if you look closely.

:s8:

Anyway, don't think many bros have issues regarding battery drain and call droppings here? I for one do not have such issues

Any thoughts on this vs honor 10? Is the 200~300 premium worth the upgrade? Further honor 10 has 1 year sg warranty, this doesn't have unless you bought local stock(add 100+)

Chill man, don't take it personally.

Different people have different need, and thus different phones.

OP6 meets most of my needs for dual sim, big storage, and long battery life that last my usage pattern. My only pain point is the HDCP video casting problem which they said they will solve soon. Keeping fingers cross.

Bro the dual sim can use 4g for both? Or must select in software.

1 month in..

GPS is still weird...takes like a min to correctly pin point where you are..
Experience and usage wise, still buttery smooth
I love the customisation available...double taps, hotlink some actions on the 3 screen buttons below...add more than 1 fingerprint to unlock phone...etc

i disable the face unlock, got irritating after a while

I did experience fast battery drain after 5.1.6 update. But everything became fine after a restarting the phone.

oh, i realise i dont miss mobile facebook at all.

although i paid 900 for the phone, i have to adjust and look at this phone as sub 750 range. (1st China brand phone, decided to go for local warranty)

* I dont play mobile games or watch movies on the phone.

I supposed yours is 900 cos you selected local set option and 8gb+128. Wanna ask if 128gb is necc and worth the premium over 64gb? Let's be real, the 2gb ram diff is no gonna matter to most users right? Hope to hear your opinion on storage

This phone is much faster and smoother. Doesn't slow down

was $880 for local 8gig ram + 128 gig

As mentioned, dont watch movies or listen to music on phone (have mp3 player for that), so I purely wanted 8 gig ram.
i believe it makes a difference on my daily use. Despite having multi tabs (i keep 40 odd tabs open on Chrome) and multiple apps open.
No slow down at all.

If you dont do housekeeping on your multi media files
Your current storage plus 50%...will be the minimum you need for next 2 years. Rough guide.

This phone is many things but lau yah is not one of them. I was previously using the V30+ as my default daily driver and this phone has replaced it.

Wow did the Oreo update make the V30+ sluggish.

The OP6 has been nothing but smooth and fluid. Even the camera is pretty good, not the very best but more than good enough.

I still have the S9+ and P20 Pro (fantastic camera) with me. Fine phones but I like the OP6 with Oxygen OS best.
