is there a need to unlock the bootloader first?

1) unlock bootloader
2) place latest stock oxygen rom in root folder
3) proceed to recovery menu, select the stock oxygen rom and update

is that all ? i went through XDA but unsure if i am following the correct link.. example below

unlock bootloader is only if you want use fastboot rom to flash n such .

for system update method just dump the full rom into the root folder then go setting update rom can already .

Anyone switched from OP5 to OP6? Find that op6 definitely battery life is a lot poorer. Than OP5, camera startup speed and shutter speed also noticeably slower.

Maybe not software optimized yet. If 6t come out with bigger battery.. I'll probably change

There is.....you can set double tap home button to off the screen in the menu....

Have ah, under the stock launcher setting.

If you're using third party launcher then you're out of luck. All third party launchers and lock screen app requires device admin to have instant screen lock/off (do not support fingerprint unlock), unless your device is rooted.

So far I realised OP6 do not have the double touch to off the screen...Any idea on how to enable it? Thanks

Can I check if the warranty is with the shop itself or oneplus? Has anyone bought their oneplus from here??

PP2 is a subsidiary of Eurocellar. Legi OnePlus local one year warranty..do some googling ..and refer to your package when you received..it comes with certain marking or sticker..refer to my pictures in the earlier posting

Hi, any good TGSP to recommend? Pasted the full TGSP in Burlington Square for $35. Less than 2 months, the sides seems to coming off.. Can see the white lines. Quite disappointed with it for the price i paid.
Previously pasted the full TGSP on the V30 in Bedok, the TGSP sticks to the screen solid solid de..

micshang is referring to the InvisShield LOCA based tempered glass, haven't seen it available for 1+6 yet. The WSD version of the same could be coming soon...

I tried Nillkin CP + Max, $16. The black border eats up the screen estate so your notch area below will have black border. Tried other alignment to get rid of the notch black border but it results in TGSP coming out when u put on bumper (Too high up). I recommend not buying it, now I'm not using any TGSP
