How much did you get it? 6t seems like a good upgrade for battery size and fod :o

629 from qoo for the 6gb variant.

Been using the P2XL since Nov 17. Really liked the phone but lack of headphone jack has always bothered me. Jumped onto the OP6 as soon as they confirmed the 6T does not come with a jack.

That's a very good price as I saw 730 from ah beng shop, that's like $100 savings!

Actually I also prefer headphone jack but if they got give the usb-c connector to use headphone then I'm ok. Feel like getting the 6 as the price is good now, then I see 6t's upgrade is quite good. Shall wait as not in a hurry to change yet though my phone is quite slow :s22:

Please give review what are some of the things you don't like about the phone since most are raving comments :o

Those who tweak their OP6 setting for VoLTE and VoWiFi to enable it with the icon appear on the notification bar, any different to your APN setting? Does it mean we really need to edit some file with rooting as stated on previous post?

Mine, I only enable the toggle setting with *#800# and *#*#4636#*#* VoLTE provisioned enable showing Voice Network Type: LTE but when there a phone call, it drop back to H+ meaning it not officially working since there is no VoLTE icon on notification bar too.

Seem like our 3 telcos are not using the standard VoLTE method like some other countries Telco, theirs enabled by dialing *#*#4636#*#* and *#800# and reboot. That all and get the VoLTE icon on notification bar.

Refer to my post with a guide from xda to edit the EFS file.

Yes, you have to edit EFS in order to get VoLTE and VoWiFi working. No need to tweak APN

OnePlus phones are not getting VoLTE support from local telcos. It's only when local telcos start to sell OnePlus then you will get the official support. Right now you can only get VoLTE via the root method...

I would say it's good enough? Not quite as good as like Google Pixel 2 still, but still pretty decent. I have full res camera samples here.

Can ask if the photos taken using the auto (any adjustment?) or manual mode?

The pictures are very good for daylight, much better than I expected. Night shots seems kinda grainy but not a huge complaint for the price. I like the slo-mo video at the end lol

Thanks for sharing this :o

Yeah man totally agree. Piece of **** speakers really CMI.
Even the camera is not really that good when you blow up on PC. Quite blurry even in day shots. Heard it is a problem even on the OnePlus forums...

No perfect Android phone. Closest maybe was htc but now I realised the battery life due to the LCD display makes it bad.

Had the U11+ and it took way better photos than the OP6 for sure. Totally agree cause my OP6 is getting around the same as the 3,930mAH U11+.

Which screen protector will fit nicely in Spigen rugged armor case?

The original screen protector is coming off.

The case should go well with the official tempered glass, refer to the post here. Most probably your alignment is a bit off, you can make use of the notch to check if it was aligned properly.
As per the instruction provided with the official TG protector, paste the screen protector with the case on to ensure proper alignment.

Push Notification

Guys, do you experience delay for push notifications? I have already set the affected apps to 'not optimised' and allow full background data usage. Used the PNF app to adjust heartbeat but some apps still slow to notify. Thanks.

is it this issue?
https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oneplus-6-camera-takes-blurry-and-noisy-pictures.864226/

from pg3 onwards some people looking into the EXIF seem to report that the camera overexposes, then the software tries to artifically darken, which may lead to quality issues not to mention RAW files whose expousure look way different than the equivalent JPEG.

theres 1 comment there that claims open camera might have better focus/sharpness.

were you able to compare stock app vs 3rd party app for camera output? usually if i want to test sharpness I just try take photos of stuff with text and see how clear it looks

Speakers not a big issue for me lol as I don't use it to watch video. If speaker is the only dislike, then I think this phone really got nothing to that is deal breaker to me le. Wah v excited I can get oneplus 6t maybe since the next year should have more incremental improvement! Think I shall wait for 6t to see, looking forward to it :o

Ohh do you know if the camera quality issit on par with s7e? Or worse? Because I'm totally happy with my current camera. And I only use it mainly when going overseas trip hahahha. Don't really take for ig shots as my friend will be the one doing it instead

I used a S7E before switching the OP6 and personally I think the S7 wins hands down. I can't really elaborate, but in good light both are good. But in slightly more challenging situations or sometimes in good light, the OP6 just doesn't produce a good picture.

Nice hearing from an ex-s7e owner. Haha ya I like the camera of s7e, really good for both day and night so far it hasn't disappoint me in any sense tho it's an old phone le. But it's running slowerrr :( I've no complaints for this other than slow performance and fingerprint sensor

Mind to ask if you're satisfy with oneplus 6 so far? Like given a choice again, would you get this phone or others?
