Folks,

Would like to hear your opinions. Purchased the Midnight black 8GB, 256 GB version on Friday from Qoo10 131Express. The usual option was to wait for SMS to self collect. Price was listed as $800, less $100 coupon , so nett sale price was $700., However, vendor chose to deliver via Qexpress. Received on Saturday, but what I received was Midnight black 8GB, 128GB version.

Went back to Qoo10 on Saturday and seems that 131Express has amended the price for the 8GB, 256GB version for $900, less $100 coupon, nett price $800.

I have already raised the issue with vendor and Qoo10, waiting for their feedback. My question would be, if the suggested solution by 131Express and Qoo10 is to return for full refund, I would still need to pay $800, if I was still keen on the 8GB, 256GB version. My own thoughts is that 131Express probably opted to ship the 128GB version, instead of self collect, is that they realised the made a mistake on the advertised price and decided to fulfill the order via shipment instead, as they could avoid a confontation should I have self collected and refuse receipt of the product, and they would have had a record (possibly adverse) of not fulfilling an order.

Opinions and suggestions appreciated.

I dont think the 256gb is so cheap. I bought my 256gb 8gb for 798.

You want to double check if u have selected the wrong variant?

Based on past feedbacks from folks who encountered pricing errors from qoo10, Qoo10 usually sided with seller one if they are not going honour. Just go for full refund unless the revised price is still attractive to u.

How to compare. 4200mah vs 3700mah. Of course mate 20 pro batt life better.

True, but I just started using the oneplus 6T after lunch on saturday therefore will need a few more days to form a more accurate opinion of the battery life of the oneplus 6t. My initial feedback on poorer battery life was based on the battery percentage dropping faster as compared to my M20pro but the phone is still so new and still setting up therefore my initial observations of the battery life is not so accurate.

OxygenOS is more of a stock android interface. It wont be as fanciful and as much feature as huawei of course.

True, the oneplus 6t is like the google phone, no heavy masking like the other brands android phones.

Can't get used to Huawei UI :(

Initially it also took sometime for me to get used to the huawei UI, the main thing I like about the huawei UI is the native themes app and the level of customisation available which is very easy for users like myself without much rooting knowing.

Having use Huawei P10+ before OP6T, 6T's ui is better and cleaner..

True, I agree on the oneplus OS being cleaner.

Alamak, never do homework before buying?

yeah haha, I bought based on the mclaren design which made me fell in love :D

Oh ya, I noticed that oneplus did not come with a native email app installed. Any recommendations on a good email app from google store?

Also any good app to recommend to change icons?
