Get PS+ subscription. Play the 18 games included.
Make sure to try Bloodborne, as its not everyone's cup of tea. Either you love or hate it. If you like the gameplay & difficulty of it, then Demon's Souls is right up your alley. If you're not a fan, you may skip it. Or get DS during a sale or buy a used/2nd hand copy for cheap next year.
Once you're done with the games in PS+ Collection, can move on to PS5 games. Which will be cheaper in 2021 once you're ready to purchase them, compared to spending $98 per game at launch.

Just saw that preorder listings for PS5 games are up on Amazon SG. However I've still yet to confirm my order as the model number starts with "ECAS" and I am unable to confirm on the region from Google. Anyone knows? Thanks.
Our local PSN store has been updated it seems... but think the rollout is still in progress. Game pages don't have high-res pictures or links to buy the games, and some links are broken (e.g., checking PS+ subscriptions).

No replacement for wishlist too. I was hoping they would have some alternative, but maybe it will get rolled out in the coming weeks (or after PS5 launch).
EDIT: Seems like all the links are working now. I generally like the layout, it's clean and neat, but haven't tried surfing it on mobile yet. Overall I don't mind the changes, just that I hope they restore some sort of wishlist functionality.

Region mainly affect DLC.What difference does the region of the game make?
For example, if I purchase R2 copy of Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, which includes a voucher code to download a digital version of Spider-Man Remastered.
Since I only have a Singapore PSN account, that means I'm unable to redeem the voucher for Spider-Man Remastered. My account is not compatible with R2 DLC codes. I have to buy R3/Asia version of the game to enjoy the benefits of DLC.
Getting the correct region makes a difference & certainly matters.
Yup but actually redemption of in game voucher code is less of an hassle since one can go register another region's account easily. Problem come when purchasing DLC for other region which will require the person to jump through certain hoops like buying US PSN top up card from Amazon as US PSN does not accept our SG card payment directly.
Both are fine but most of the time US PSN got better discount/promo like got 50% off from CDkeys for a yr of membership . Only downside as mentioned need to buy top up card from Amazon US to top up the wallet when you want to purchase games from the US Psn store since SG CC is not accepted.

Should be local version since it is indicated that the order will be shipped and sold by Amazon SG.
It's a pre-order so i can cancel it anytime, and theres a promotion of getting a free $15 Amazon.sg gift card with $60 min spend so i just went for it.

But not surprising as report show PS5 is more in-demand than Xbox Series X in 84% of countries which in their homeland US, PS5 generate more hype...
