Do you people switch between games to play? Or do you focus on finishing a single game first before moving to another ?! LOL ******************

Good qt. Like most ppl who replied, I would finish a game first before moving on to the next.

This is also a reason why some might feel, me included, xbox series X/S quick resume are kind of, good to have but ultimately "useless" feature. Nothing to do with being fanboying....

*In additions, there's a practical reason to it. I'm getting old, re-learning/switching between control schemes is not fun for me.:s22:

And also, I don't usually play same type/genre of game, back to back. Switch between big open-worlds, action adventures, strategies, shooters, indies, etc..

Finish main story first and try to complete the side quests later on.

The only games I played and plat without moving to other games are GOW, WD: Legion, and GOT.

How do you earn Plat in games such as GOT GOW huh ?! Is it like you have to complete all quests? Or do you have to be like Champion killer and kill without getting hurt or dying ? Sorry, still learning the these games in latest gen causs my last PS is PS2 ! 😅

Also I feel that the whole dynamic of the gaming environment has changed, and the covid situation accelerated the change in gaming behaviours... more people staying home, the return of previous gen gamers who has stopped gaming for some years like me, new pool of adult gamers who are pulled into the current gen “feels like a movie” graphic presentation of the games, etc. So I think this gen of PS5 is gonna break all previous demand and supply patterns with changes in buying behaviours and in buyers’ profile in general ... u see us old uncles beh hu beh hu PO and put deposit and got ourselves the first few batches, while some young and professional gamers are still waiting for the scenario of “walk in and buy”

For a new console launch, it is to be expected especially if its a Playstation in Asia where most people aren't interested in Xbox.

You get a 10 teraflop GPU and the latest PCIE4 SSD (825GB*) for S$599 or S$729 and its backward compatible with PS4. So, everyone who plays PS4 seriously, will say, I need to quickly offload my PS4 (before it becomes worthless) and get my PS5 'subsidised' in price. And then, there are the usual scalpers for a newly launched item. Plus, you get a very large list of A++ titles included for free when you sign up for Playstation Plus (which almost everyone does). So, yes, it will sell like hotcakes and it is expected.

I can't say i like the design though. It's too big.

* it blows my mind that most people i talk to think the PS5 has a 1TB SSD.

Most of trophies in GOW are related to main story, hardest one is defeating all valkyries. Collecting all treasures is also one of the tedious one.

99.9% of the trophies are not related to difficulty, they usually require you to do something tedious, like find every single *insert item in game*, learn every single skill, max out level or something of that sort. GoW is not a tough game, only valkyrie queen on hard/GMGoW difficulty is challenging, IIRC the plat doesn't require you to complete the game on higher difficulties, just normal.

Trophy hunting is good if you only have 1 game to play or have lots of time to kill, my gaming backlog is mountain high, dun even have time to complete them so trophy hunting is a big no no for me. :s13:

hahaha ! Thanks for sharing experiences. I am now playing GOT, and I think I have OCD where during first part of the game I spent soooooooo much timing chasing yellow birds and foxes 🦊 wanting to make sure that I don’t missed out anything! Not knowing that they will automatically appear on the map after reaching certain milestones or completing each main section of the map ! Now I will learn from you and just focus on completing main missions first. hahaha

I think this is the only game that I completed region by region 100%. Too many beautiful places to explore so no need to rush to finish the main story.
