I thought about it for a while before buying Demon Souls, at full price. But, it was worth every cent.

Elden Ring ... doesn't look as good graphically from the trailer. Maybe due to it being a cross gen game.

The only regret for Demon's Souls is I didn't play it with my Arctis 7P headset on my first run cos I haven't bought it at that time. Next run then.

Hoping to see FromSoft show the differences between PS4 and PS5 versions within the next few months. Anyways I'm just thinking what ER's difficulty will be like (they didn't cover that in the interview iirc) since they talk about their main focus on giving the players Freedom to use different approaches to play and players can play in a different order. Tons of abilities & spirit summons to explore and discover as well. Sounds like a lot more replay-ability this time.

I think we also have to note that Demon's Souls Remake is developed by Bluepoint games where Elden Ring is developed by FromSoftware. I didn't particularly compare them though originally from the same dev.

I find Elden Ring graphically decent so far and of course, I expect them to polish up progressively just like any other games' trailers leading up to its launch. If the final version still looks unpolished then something is wrong. We are still 6 months away, give it some time perhaps? More to come on the gameplay mechanics, background story, etc in the near future as always.

Is the Arctis 7P worth it?

Though I have been gaming for so long, I didn't really use any headset or sound bar and all I got was the earphones/TV speakers. So I might not be the best person to answer this. But I find Arctis 7P really immersive when test playing DS again (though I'd already beaten it w/o the headset). I can hear details where I don't usually hear them when I use earphones/tv speakers, not just for DS but for other games as well. It makes me feel like using earphones may just be a total waste of its sound. That - is another level for me already, coming from no headset experience. Some folks here also recommend tweaking the sound equalisers using the app on laptop (customised/immersion/performance mode etc) to suit your taste. For its price, I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Two problems:

1. You can’t easily buy a PS5 at $729 now.
2. By that logic, my GTX970 is also 4K capable

theres no sony store in amazon sg. the "sony" you see there is the manufactuer. Whether is from US or SG, you have to see the seller name. Amazon SG will be from SG, Amazon US from US. but there are 3rd party sellers either from SG , US or other countries too.

Kind of shocked to see the prices soar that much in such a short time. I bought my RTX3060 2 months ago at $800+ and to me that is fckin' ridiculous already because that card should only cost $600. But now it's $1300? Yeah, times are crazy indeed now.

Still very hard to drive games at 4K for most games. Yes graphic card prices are crazy, digital version 599 more worth for me. I rather buy 2x ps5 rather than inflated rtx 3060

back in Dec I got my ryzen 5600x + rtx 3070 + 1 tb nvme setup for like 2.1k.

then my Intel i5 10600k + rtx 3070 + 1tb nvme like for 2k.

now the processor and MB prices like close to 1k, while graphics card costs like 2k. Crazy times.
