How safe do you think buying from shopee and lazada is? The reviews are good there and the store rating is also good. I just feel its much safer than buying from carousell. What do yall think

Buy during sale. Can do chargeback if u use credit card if it scam. No issue if u talk about safe or not safe but I think still expensive

It's when your bank reverse the payment.

Need to call bank and file for chargeback, they will hold the payment to merchant and investigate the case.

I believe Lazada and Shopee should be pretty safe. You could wait for sales though the issue with these heatsink drives is volatile availability, especially if you’re looking at the popular models like Seagate or WD.

I’ve ordered mine via Amazon US, which is cheaper but will take some time to deliver and does not offer local warranty. I’m prepared to take the risk as I’ll just deal with the pain of reinstalling the games in case the drive fails. The SG prices are a real rip-off even after accounting for delivery.

Will heat sinks cost beyond $20 to $30? Coz if they do, then i'll probably go for this Aorus since don't need to self install...I'm not a very handy person....

also if you buying the 980 pro, make offer in the chat of $280, follow the store for $5 voucher and use 10.10 shopee voucher and check out at midnight. Can get heatsink and SSD for around $275-280 plus the 980 pro / SN850 are faster then the Aorus

Careful. The guy that mentioned it is a local set with 5 years warranty showed a picture of the box and it did not contain the EA logo sticker. Indicating that this is NOT a local set. So don't expect a 5 years warranty being covered by the local distro, EA.
Nevertheless, I don't think it will be much of an issue because Samsung SSDs tend to typically last.

PS. Those who purchased an SSD for your PS5, do insert it in your PC first in order to check if it has the latest firmware. It usually can't be plugged into just an external USB enclosure and has to physically be plugged in via a PCIe adaptor or directly to your motherboard in order for it to be recognized and thus, allowing for a firmware upgrade.
