Now finally...HN SEND Email informing delivery is Late Dec to March..

I got the email too this afternoon. Zzz...not sure what if I should cancel or not. What are the chances of more stock as approach year end and getting a set around Xmas?

I pre-ordered the XBox X,but again not sure if the retailer (Challenger) will drop me a similar email...zzz

i cancelled my Harvey Norman as well. They send mail to inform that item has been cancelled. Check status on HN site. all good.

I also received the email notifying the delay from HN today. I do not own any console presently. I called the CSO and was told there is no deadline to cancel the order. was wondering...why don't kiv and cancel when one finds a ready set in Dec from other retailers? Appreciate the advice. tks tks

Because i already have a set hehe and theres no point waiting for them to have restocks in jan to march...maybe by then ps5 have multiple restocks or versions and there might be some store discounts/bundles etc.

Or should I just purchase a cheap secondhand PS4 Slim?

no point buying ps4 unless you don't intend to play ps5 games. just po ps5. also next gen pes will be a new game and maybe better than fifa.

see this video comparing LG OLED with the top Samsung QLED tv with that starfield video.
the oled can pick out the stars so obvious because its using self lit pixels compare to the samsung flagship QLED tv with a led backlight.

lol...i see those ppl telling the guy to get ps5 just to play fifa....so pointless..unless u cash rich lor, then get ps5. play fifa only. ps4 is more than enough. ps4 still can last about 3-4 years.

by that time ps5 price would be lower, might even have pro version, u can go upgrade from ps4 to ps5 to play fifa

Was xbox x easy to pre order ? When the xbox pre orders opened I was curious and went to see and could easily add xbox series S to cart.

I get that Asia etc is dominated by Sony and PS. But I didn't expect the gulf to be that wide!

Was advised by Challenger that pre-order for PS5 they only take in for the 1st batch which is 19 Nov. So those who order from them quite safe will get at launch unless shipment delayed, not so sure about xbox though, no harm drop them a msg to enquire.

Yup..was considering Oled and Qled a couple of years back and eventually went with Samsung Qled Q7FN as to avoid the burn in issue.

So far, it have been serving me well and would say the picture quality far surpass most of the Lcd Tv i seen..

i remember seeing a headline where series X went OOS in 8 minutes.
series s isnt really "next gen". i dont see a reason it exist tbh

For the budget gamers, actually i see quite a big potential market for this especially bundle tgt with game pass.

It's like flagship vs mainstream phone, most of the consumer who are not that keen into latest & high end tech will pick the more affordable one.

500 and 700 isnt that big of a diff imo. 500 is still a lot of money and u dont get the full experience. most people will go 700.
good phones on the other hand, can be had for 200-400 while your samsungs and iphones are in the 1k+ region.

also this is before considering that phones are 1 time purchases while the real cost of consoles comes in the games.

Ehm, it is Series S $459 vs X $699, differences of $240. E.g. if ur a non gamer parent whom getting it for ur kids, which one will u consider? Most will go for the cheaper option lor.

Lol..their new membership sign-up for this mth mainly fuel by PS5 and xbox pre-order...

So far never receive such email. But got another email from them selling additional warranty for ps5

Ask them if u dunno u in queue or confirm get, how to buy warranty. Then they will let u know your queue number. Haha..

Im in line to get it second batch in dec. First few in second batch.
