Base game priced slightly higher at $109 (USD $80). Physical copy releasing a week early on 12 Nov (though not playable until 19 Nov).

There's still no word regarding framerate, mainly 60fps performance mode on PS5 Pro. If it's 30fps-only, its a deal breaker & I'll skip it at launch, and wait for the upgraded next-gen PS6 port (instead of double dipping). However if it runs at 60fps on Pro, I'll likely be there day 1. Will wait for official confirmation from R*.

Physical copy without including a disc & locking gameplay content behind a paywall (Ultimate Edition) is anti-consumer & set a bad precedent, as other devs/publishers might follow suit. R* is out to kill the resale/secondhand market. Either offer a full physical version or do away with it completely.

Buying physical media to initiate a digital download is equivalent of booking a Grab ride & then driving the car yourself.

problem is not every game is available in psn plus sub. mostly lousy games and occasionally good ones.

Like miss the boat liao leh. Last year aug 4tb samsung ssd was only 380 sgd. Now? 1500 sgd... More expensive than ps5 pro...

The WD Black 8TB M.2 when I bought it back then also costs more than my PS5 Pro.

PS5 games cannot be installed on external USB (SSD or HDD) due to slow transfer, can only install to internal storage or internal M.2 slot that accepts PCIe Gen 4 cards.

For example aliexpress got sell HDD or SD cards that had complete library of various retro console games, or you got free time can go download them yourself.

It is possible we're looking at the dawn of a 2nd video game crash (much like the one in early 80s), with RAM & storage prices shooting up driving the console/PC prices up, and games now costing 80 to 100 bucks plus even more for all the DLCs, and going full digital with no physical medias (meaning you're paying for just a license to play the games instead of owning them).

If the game industry really crashes next year, I still have backlog of 600+ games to play on PSN, 100+ PS Plus games (if I decide to re-sub), 100+ physical PS5/PS4 titles, 100-200 games from Steam & GOG, plus all the retro games for retro consoles which I can play on my Anbernic handhelds, Mangmi handhelds, Konkr Pocket FIT, Evercade etc, so I think I'm good.

No worries, as I've mentioned I have physical games for PS5 and PS4.

The GOG games all no DRM, no need online. Also, retro games from PS2/PSP/GC and below you can get them on Aliexpress, they can already last you a lifetime!

Plus even if game industry crashes, Sony will not go bankrupt (Steam will be the first to go though), the game division is just one of many businesses Sony is in, unlike Nvidia, AMD, Nintendo etc.
