Hope HN will have stock for all who Pre ordered for the dec batch. My fear is they take payment now but don’t really have allocation or sufficient allocation in dec...

In my confirmation email, they state 2-7 day delivery window. Will see.

Interesting question as most will ask the opposite if ps4 controller can be use on ps5.

Anyway based on a quick google search, nobody have definite answer on this yet.

That article saying no because PS4 doesn't have USB-C port sounds like speculation leh. No USB-C port is not a problem, just use a simple adapter or another cable.

The question here is, for example, in Dec or Jan (PS5 already out but I haven't bought it yet) and I need another controller for my PS4, can I buy a PS5 controller instead (for future compatibility)? Cos no point buying PS4 controller anymore since it won't work on PS5 (at least for PS5 games).

yes it states so in the email from Sony (I think for those who pre-registered interest).

But that one really got to fastest finger first. Was the fastest sold-out amongst all the online stores - think <1min all gone liao.

Make sure you have auto-fill your shipping address, have card number ready etc because even if you add to cart it doesn't 'store' it as yours and you will only know when check-out if it's successful or not.

Yesterday was the 1st day and I kept refreshing, saw that could add to cart at around 10:58am, 10:59am they opened. I thought I would wait till 11am but when I entered shipping address, it just told me sold out.

Best to camp at around 10:55 and keep refreshing, if can add to cart and checkout then just do it asap

In December, if not enough stocks then say sorry and refund you all the money.
Can get as much for now for this pandemic period, not bad.

I was on the payment page at 10.59, clicked on confirm payment. Then suddenly it's out.

Today it came up even earlier than yesterday, 10.58.

Went to just take a look on the site, I lost track of time but seems like at 1058hrs you could already add to cart and checkout. So really camping and maybe having multiple screens - phone, laptop ready would be ur best bet
