Just called harvey norman. If you get the backordered email it will not be in December

For me if not Nov or Dec no point liao rather wait for some discounts . Might be cancelling mine or snatch from Sony.

Haha I actually have a Sony Disc Version as back up. Just that I'd ordered Digital version this morning via HN cuz they stated December delivery, then now suddenly got this 99 days thingy...

Called HN and they said it'll take 1-2 weeks to confirm on cancellation
HN website really can't be trusted one..

Confirm meaning they need to get approval to allow customer to cancel pre/order or what they mean is credit back (refund) to your original mode of purchase i.e. credit card etc.

yeah I agree, pretty certain they will release it in the later stage (maybe in 1-2 years time?)
