I would still prefer Sony’s original DualSense Docking station as the rest charge thru the USB-C. if u got kids, they might just take it out and break the port.

How do i know if the controller is charging without looking at the tv? Any light indications on the controllers itself?

Orange light around the touch pad when I charged using usb. Once full it will stop glowing
If u charged via PS5 you may have chose the low power mode which disables charging and updates

People are delusional if they think ps5 can do 8k gaming at steady fps lol. The 8k logo on the box is just a marketing gimmick to sell 8k tv.

Sony haven’t even master 4K 60 last gen and u want to do 8k 60????,

Yup. I don't think anyone in their right mind will even buy an 8K TV. The price itself is prohibitive.
To fully enjoy 8K, your TV size needs to be bigger than 77".

Right now, the most impactful and most noticeable is the HDR experience with its many colours and darkest blacks and brightest whites.

As well as 4K 120Hz.
Though I'm still going to make full use of Ray Tracing and better image quality option for single player games and using VRR to help make the motion feel smoother than 30fps.
I'll save the better framerate option like 60Hz to 120Hz for multiplayer games like COD.

Am quite disappointed w this. At least on the PS4 with the dongle, could insert in a mic to be used... but now the new Dualsense already has a mic. I thought problems are solved.

Sigh.. Sony still does not allow 3rd party Bluetooth headphones or earbuds. This sucks.

Hi, I know ps5 doesn’t support 1440p, but if I play with a 1440p monitor will it render in 4k and then downscale to 1080p or it doesn’t even downscale, just 4k all the way?

Anyone has issues with squeaky buttons on the Dualsense? My X button makes squeaky noise when I press it sometimes

It will downscale to 1080p, and your monitor will upscale to 1440p. Not great for image quality.

Which is a better option? Buy a ps4 game that comes with free upgrade to ps5 version or just buy the ps5 version? Cos the first option is cheaper as well... thinking of watch dog legions and Spider-Man miles morales
