If you want it to directly work with youe us account, you should look for R1 game. You can ask the seller about it.

But other region can work fine, it only differs on where you can download its dlc. For example if your disk is R3(asia) then you need to have a separate asian account to buy or download the dlc. Once downloaded, you can switch to your us account/user and the dlc will also be there.

All games are region free. However some DLC/add-on are region restricted & not compatible when played on a different region PSN account.

For example, I'm currently using Singapore PSN account. If I buy Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition R1 or R2 disc, I can play it without any issues. But I can't use the Spider-Man Remastered DLC voucher code, since it can only be redeem on a US or EU PSN account (Though I can create a new account anytime to circumvent that DLC issue, but that's another story).

Its best to buy games with the same region as your main PSN account. In your case, buy R1 games if there's DLC you wish to redeem or purchase from PlayStation Store. If its a single player game without any DLC, buying any region disc is fine.

Take note that Free Upgrade is also region restricted for all games (Sackboy from GameXtreme seems to be R3/Asia version).

For Sackboy, you can either buy R1 PS4 disc for the Free Upgrade or use Singapore PSN account if you buy R3 disc (Or buy R1 PS5 disc, as copying & installing directly from the disc is faster than downloading digital version/free upgrade from PS Store).

oh they told me it is R2 for sackboy.

So which means i have to create a EU account. Put in the ps4 disc while log into the EU account, upgrade it to the PS5 version and then switch account back to my US account. Thats it yea?

So there was actually limited stocks just now on Amazon. But it was for a select few. So fast, all of it has been snapped up. It's for 25 December. Hopefully those that got it are actual gamers and not scalpers. :s8:

Based on my last check with them last friday, those who purchase the PS5 last mth through Sony Online store, Sony will deliver by Dec 24.
Keep my finger crossed :D
