Depends how you see it, if you plan to change ur tv in say two yrs time, then justify to go with cheaper I think... but if you plan to future proof your tv while enjoy the best visually, then I think a good tv is worth every penny... after all, you spend so much time with your tv 📺 my personal opinion only

Oh gg, I checked hdmi 2.1 tvs are all so ex. Is 120hz really needed?

I think 4k60hz should be good enough right? Which 49-55" TV is the best for value in this range for PS5 games? I think I'll raise my budget to like $1k max.

Don’t worry too much about burn-in, there are already in built mechanism to prevent that. Unless you really have your screen freeze for HOURS, then it is not gonna happen. Just enjoy ur purchase la !

Don't worry so much. The advise for oled is just vary your content. Don't constantly play games on your oled. Use it to watch YouTube Netflix movies. A good practice is after intensive gaming session just switch to either movies /shows or some dynamic content to refresh the pixels.10mins should be enough. Then keep the TV on standby after you power off so that the TV can run its automatic pixel refresh after every 4 hours.

May be it’s first batch problem ? I noticed the manufacture date for my unit stated under the box is 01/2021... also notice that my box design and placement of the smaller boxes inside are somewhat different for the boxes of most of the Youtubers’ boxes shown during their openings ... suspect the box composition also have minor changes for these latest batches ...

At first vertical then disc drive got problem so now have to put horizontal

I set up vertically due to limited space 😅. Oh I did not notice it’s jan batch. Hopefully no issue with the disc. Just to check, which ps5 game is worth playing now?
Doing setup now ..... ask u all ho, you people place your unit vertically or horizontally huh? 🤔
