Hi guys, I have an issue of redeeming game codes.

I have a local ps5 set and I bought a region1 ps5 spiderman ultimate edition from Amazon.

I am playing the r1 Morales game using my main r3 psn account.

The ingame menu got an option to upgrade game to ultimate edition. But once I key in the code using my r3 account, it says cannot redeem coz it's under different region.

But I log out of my r3 account and log in to my r1 account then load the game again to redeem. Then it says the code had been redeemed.

Lol , am I screwed? Coz redeeming under wrong region considered as code being used up liao?

Usually, how u guys redeem codes from other regions if your main game account is r3?

Last night replay DMC 5 and days gone and both display great graphics but slow loading.

no you shouldnt be able to redeem cross region codes at all. check with amazon on this see what they say.

I had a lot of issues with these on ps5 too.
Try this - go to each account setting in ps5 and enable console sharing/offline play
Once you do this, the games can see different account's DLC

Happens to my AC:V also. Bought R2 edition and redeemed the DLC code under my R2 account but not visible in R3. I believe the DLC is region locked.

Super nice game. The first ps5 game I completed. I have so many backlog of games for ps4 also

Me too many backlog not finish yet. But loading ps4 games from my external HDD very slow.

as most of the games dlc are region locked so you need to play in the account that you redeem the dlc.
