Haha i had thoughts of removing the front and back cover of the ps5.
I have bottles of plastidip spray, thinking if i should spray it.
Because the spray can be removed if you want next time, just tear it.

Matte black looks really cool in picture, but I worry that the real thing may be a little too “batman” for me...haha. so i didn’t PO it when I receive the launch notification... same with Amuroraysg, I also like the full set to be in sync - the main unit, the controller, the headset, etc. They should look like a one big happy family to me ... again, the OCD in me ...

Oo good idea. If cannot refund the preorder then maybe can sell away to colleague for same price I bought. I got few colleagues told me they still searching PS5.

Should I get the dbrand black plate also? I'm quite tempted. I saw aliexpress got black, red & gold but glossy texture. I think dbrand matte is better. If only there're other colours like purple. I'm wondering if Sony planning sell their own plates in future since they made the plates easy to replace.

its faster as compared to ps4pro, at least for me my LAN port/NIC for my pro like not so good..

my comparison was ps4pro on gaming port vs ps5 disc on non gaming port (ps speed test difference between 100-150mbps)

but my 2cents cuz the speed test not all the time accurate

Are you using wifi 6 at home?

The diff between ps4 gen1 vs ps5 is much more noticeable compare to ps4 pro vs ps5

yup, it is faster and better to use wifi-6 router to fully utilise the ps5

My PS5 is connected directly to my ASUS TUF-AX3000 which I upgraded during last Xmas (on sale) just to make sure as much as possible utilise the PS5 capabilities... and it sure is fast on games download. But have not try multiplayers ...

Ps4 game 99.99% supported on ps5 thru BC mode(only 10 games not supported)
Be it disc or download.

hahaha... good on you ... my case is that I leant and followed the recommendation from some users in this forum and upgraded my tv and router at the same time during last Xmas sale, even before receiving the actual unit last month in Jan 2021... I think some here also did the same.

mine about the same speed and on div2 ps5 does load maybe 1-2 secs faster than ps4pro la but think its mainly cuz of the ssd version ps5 is on and increased the load time. UBI doesnt have a good server for you to see significant difference on connection speed to begin with

SteelSeries Arctis 7P is surprisingly light and so comfortable to the ears. Very easy to setup also. I tested Demon's Souls and I was able to hear sounds I haven't heard before while playing previously. So much more immersive. I also tested Bloodborne, still great but apparently cannot be compared to a PS5 game's audio + it's an old game. I had only tried for 1 hour and first impressions are great already. It's really different when you invest in a decent pair of headphones. Shall test more later tonight!
