Been using one and nope it does not feel hot for me...Maybe move it out of ur PS5 exhaust will help.

I don't even feel my specs pressing on me, unlike the one (audio technica) I used previously, always gives me pain (press for too long) that leads to headaches. And it doesn't get too hot (slightly warm only) either.

I got few gaming headsets and 7p comfort is the best but not the sound quality.
