Anyone ordered digital edition from Sony @ 313 and already gotten their sets?

Called them a few weeks back and they said i'm at number 90+ on the waiting list (for a digital PS5)...i registered on their waiting list since last year Dec 2020, guess its true that they don't stock so much digital sets per batch

A bit regret not just going for the disc version, would have probably gotten it by now

Looking at the amount of discussions on scalpers in this PS5 thread, I’m not surprised that many ‘contributors’ here is or was a scalper. What is worst is the false pretext to ‘avoid’ scalpers.

Just scroll through… this thread has suddenly been more on monitoring activity on Carousell or market prices.

Gotten my RE Village on launch day, but did not spend much time on it. It’s much too intense for me, and I barely even started much.

Been spending almost 30+ hrs on Days Gone, and I think it’s a really good game, graphically, gameplay & storyline. Best part is that it’s FOC. Must admit, the ‘looting’ of items can get pretty repetitive but I figured it’s part of the mechanics (aka Assassins Creed style).
I tried running Days Gone on the PS4, and the loading was excruciatingly slow. I think it’s best played on the PS5, w the advantage of getting 60fpsz which makes the open world a pleasure to explore.

exactly. Have to think as the sellers point of view too.

if no deposit taken, seller can always sell higher to another buyer that comes along, since no reservation/deposit taken.

That will make it even worse, those who "pre ordered" with a seller will get flaked since the seller can always just look for a higher amount and tell you that no more stock lol..

u do know that carousel have a review section right? so i guess buyers who does that generally will find sellers with good reviews.

And you also know that there is something called Carouselpay as well for user to put deposit and the money is hold on by Carousel instead..

So its the same like when people buy furniture, they put a deposit. Carousel acts as a middle man.

Too bad i was being scammed yesterday, $780 for PS5 disc version.

Beware of any carousell seller who cannot deal with meetup and insist on delivery only.

Should have read through all the comments here before buying on impulse yesterday.

I just took over a friend's set due to him needing money to tie over due to being retrenched. collected directly from gameextreme. PS5 really an awesome console, system update took less than 30s.

now i need to think what to do with my courts set when it deliver this coming june hahaha

there is a few same scammers that utilise unknown carousel sellers to help the scammers advertise selling for ps5.

The carousel post will be similar. in the ad, they will post the specs of the ps5 and the offer price will be an attractive $750 to $780.

The carousel ad will ask u to whatsapp 8891 0350 which is the scammer commercial whatsapp number which they probably gotten free /trail version

You know how these scammers advertise on carousel? They will post an ad in telegram offering people a "part time job"

The job is to post that ps5 ad using their own carousel account with that PS5 post with the specs listed, and that whatsapp number. Then they promise the carousel holder that they will get commission for every "successful" purchase from a buyer.

So alot of unsuspecting people go sign up and help this scammer post the ad thinking its a part time job to earn some commission.

review and rating cannot trust one when comes to making deposits. only if they got physical shops. i heng i nv kana b4 but got a few i know kana. they message me ask me for info from the scammers cause the scammers got buy things from me before then we got exchange feedbacks

Well said... this is similar to how ah long roped in unsuspecting people to help them post their illegal moneylending for about $5/post.

Anyway, like i mentioned before, the current trend for reselling of ps5 is $1k and up for disc version. Anything below just assumed it's a scam until it's not. I can really forsee that the price will go up further soon due to semi-conductors shortages. Even Taiwan tried to get their pilots to deliver more semi-conductors out of the country by cutting down their pilots quarantine period but end up their community cases going up and up now. So seriously, the shortages will be even worst soon.

Honestly, If I were you I would keep the courts set until my friend is financially stable and then sell it back to him at the same rate. He sacrificed probably one of his most treasured items just to have some cash to continue with his life…

THIS IS EXCATLY THE SCAM I KENA. The paynow owner told me that he was just doing "part time job" to buy game card upon his "boss's" request
