Greetings fellow gamers .
Recently I just purchased the PS5 pro brand new from a local games shop and was shocked to notice that it doesn’t come with a sealing decal ?

Curious , I asked the salesperson and was told all PS5s and Pros come unsealed with any decals/stickers whatsoever .
Ive watched several unboxing vids of the Ps5 pro and all of them come with decals and a second box (white in colour) within the outer box .

all those of you who bought the pro ; came like mine ?
Cheers

I ordered from sony.com.sg, it wasn't sealed but there was a sticker in front indicating "Singapore Official Product". No secondary white box inside, just the console suspended between two protectors.

It's similar to the Malaysian packaging, as well as Australia's.

My OG PS5 was a US variant and it came with a secondary white box, so the packaging difference is probably region-specific.

Does anyone know how to register the console's warranty online?

I followed the steps here which ended up redirecting me to the hk website, and on the third step, I see the hint on finding the model number, but no actual models to select below the hint ...

I tried registering the console's serial # (found at the console's bottom and on the invoice) at www.sony.com.sg/ewarranty but it's not recognized, and neither is console's model # (CFI-7022B01 with or without special characters or spaces) ...

Seeing the same issue on Edge, Safari and Firefox browsers ..

As posted

the instruction incorrectly given is for a normal ps5. enter the 17 alphanumeric serial after "S01-" instead. purchase date 2024-11-07 (7 nov).

What is the page to register the warranty?

Logging into playstation.com/help ultimately points me to www.playstation.com.hk/psn/2014/psn_warr_reg.jsp that asks to select a Playstation 5 Model Number but no options are given ...

My top games as follows

1). Final Fantasy VII Rebirth - 123H (only complete 3/4 ish I think up to chapter 11~, haven't done chapter 12 and 13)
2). V Rising - 113H (3/4ish done too I think)
3). Unicorn Overlord - 51H (1/2ish done I think)
4). King Arthur - Knight's Tale - 47H (1/2ish done I think)
5). The First Descendants - 43H (haven't done any of Season 2)

Going to attempt Final Fantasy VII Rebirth once again when I have receive my PS5 Pro probably next by week from Sony Singapore + download Path of Exile 2 to try ....

Just finished watching TGA earlier today and I was surprised there's Elden Ring Nightreign (multiplayer spinoff), Onimusha: Way of the Sword (reminiscing those days of playing the Onimusha games) and Project: Robot (from ICO, SOTC, The Last Guardian makers)

The First Berserker Khazan has a release date - 27 Mar 2025. Witcher IV looks absolutely stunning. And finally, Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet (Naughty Dog's new game) - neutral feeling about it, we shall see how it goes.
