Been playing the new Digimon Story game all weekend, clocked over 20 hours and I can honestly admit I'm addicted. Really brings me back to the days I played Digimon World 1 & 3 on my first playstation.

Same haha. The Digimon Story Time Stranger is very addictive.

You may also consider picking up Digimon World: Next Order in future if you like the type of gameplay from Digimon World 1. That game was also quite addictive when I played on my PS couple years ago.

It's available on PS4/5, Switch and steam.

I tried Crow Country's Demo some time back and it was not bad - Backtracking to solving puzzles, find scarce resources such as ammo, med kits, collect items such as different keys to access different areas while uncovering the mystery of this amusement park while encountering weird monsters. And they have added this game to the catalogue this month and I just tried it for around an hour - transported back to my childhood/adolescence.

So if you grow up in the 90's playing survival horror games like the Resident Evil series, Silent Hill series, you will be right at home with this. Have a try.

I believe stores like Challenger, Harvey Norman etc can buy it directly? Or just get from Sony online.

Just hooted the 30th Anniversary DualSense for $112 on Lazada.

Previously gotten the Pearl White Edition still not opened yet.

Same here, my PS memories started with the original PS, though gaming memory dated all the way back to late 70s with the TV Pong game connected to a Black & White TV, followed by all the 8-bit and 16-bit systems.

Still remembered back when the Playstation was launched on Dec 1994 in Japan, my colleague was on a business trip there and I asked her to help get for me (she actually bought 2, one for my other colleague). I think she only managed to get it one week after the launch date as the launch day units were all sold out, obviously.

Together with the console, also asked her to get the Hori Joystick, memory card and 3 launch games. Costs me $1250 then, in today's money I think it's $2000+?

I've never had any XBox systems and never cared about games like Gears of War or Halo, but I guess FPS fans would like them?

Team Asobi do add 3rd party studio's characters into their Astro Bot game, so I won't be surprise to see a Master Chief show up in their future games.

Xbox(aka Microsoft Gaming) is essentially a 3rd party publisher now....
For next gen, they will do a very premium "hybrid console",
I think it will just be a PC running Xbox app on top of Windows OS.
That is not going to get them anywhere, and they might drop doing hardware altogether soon after ala SEGA.

Played the campaign of the 1st Halo: Combat Evolved on PC back then. It was great!
It revolutionize FPS with controller says the gaming historian.
I wouldn't know, cause I was a PC guy and played it with mouse and kb. But I know I would not have liked any FPS on console with a controller before that.

My view as well. Microsoft is now hanging the xbox division out to dry, they are not going to subsidize the new "xbox" which is basically an expensive high end PC (Asus ROG?) running Windows 11 with the xbox UI/app tag onto it.
