the last 5 years, the WP opposition voice in parliament is not as loud as 2 PSP NCMPs.

We shall see this 15th parliament, with 2 WP NCMPs
PSP is very moderate so I prefer PSP. I like the sengkang WP team too. I dislike SDP. They are too woke and CSJ is a terrible leader. His SDP members are woke and love to stir emotions

I think we need to acknowledge that being loud in parliament doesn't necessarily translate into support on the ground.

Gaining ground, in terms of parliament seats, ought to be their number 1 priority as a credible political party.

With no disrespect, a political party without a parliamentary seat is akin to a club of like- minded people.

A simple reference is that the purpose of starting a business is profit driven, and you need profits to sustain the business. To represent the voices of the people, you need a parliamentary seat to speak on behalf in parliament.

I'll vote for any opposition that competes in my ward without giving a care about their manifesto or beliefs. But if I were to set a goal as a political party, that would be my target. Only with a parliamentary seat then they are a viable political party, and it will be easier to pull in better candidates and donations.

How many 5 years can their members wait to win a seat?

I attended the People’s Labour Day Rally this afternoon at Hong Lim Park with members from our Youth Wing (and three super cute doggies)! The sun was blazing mercilessly, but that did not stop Singaporeans from turning up and rendering their support for advancing the rights of workers in Singapore. Through our conversations at the Rally, it was also evident that the GE was still fresh in the minds of many. There is so much work to be done, and I’m looking forward to the journey ahead.

Did you know that the Southern Islands were once home to a vibrant community of indigenous islanders before they were resettled to the mainland, and still form part of West Coast-Jurong West GRC even though they are uninhabited now?
Our Sec-Gen Leong Mun Wai, former candidate Sani Ismail, and other PSP members were privileged and honoured to join the Hari Orang Pulau event today to learn more about the unique culture of the Southern Islanders. We are proud to celebrate them and hope that the Orang Pulau will be able to continue passing down their precious cultural inheritance for generations to come!
