basically for new investors who do not want to use sti etf
should consider using

banks/telcos/reit for building a strong base
I'll aim for Telcom 1st I guess it's more within my reach and sti

Bank a bit beyond my reach
I saw ur another post regarding dca

But was wondering if lump sum is better thn dca no?

if u are experienced, lump sum is ok

if u have less than 1 year experience... better to dca and get average price

u should buy enough that commission does not become big drag on returns

try to buy at least 3k worth, since u pay around $30 min comm include of all fees

which works out to be around 1% expenses

if u can only save 1k a month then save up for 3 months then make 1 purchase

if u can only invest in small sums... use blue chip investment plan by ocbc, min comm only $5 net

Valuations for many of the REITs are kinda high for now and the threat of rising interest rates overhangs everything. The market is not very right for large scale acquisitions.

Your ability to cut loss very powerful.

However, playing your style, you also don't get multi-baggers.

To each his own.

power of focus fire hehehe

if AA/KK/QQ/AK/AQ, no need to be afraid to bet big

average hands just discard.... dont diversify for the sake of diversification hahaha, see individual style ba... my one more high risk LOL
