After 9 months of trying out FIFO, I think $200k might not be a sufficient base for me. If I make 10% profit on $200k, that's just $20k. I feel $300k is a more comfortable base. Then, whenever the portfolio crosses $300k, I will take profit.

I am just curious. Your cash sitting on the sidelines is much bigger than $300k?

Becareful if it is smaller or comparable, when crisis comes the value can go down faster than expected.
