ok la. at least you got a spare SH SIM. Singtel generally works better, maybe this is an isolated incident. Perhaps they are upgrading the equipment there.
I also shared about a visit to Hougang Riverwhatever Mall with a Singtel user. He couldn't make payment at Unity in the basement, and surprisingly I could with my...Maxx IIRC. And yes, there's a SS there too. :s13:

Maybe got to ask their staff which telco they use?

Friend tried with more than 2 months left and got rejected, then he tried again few weeks later and got it. Better to try with less than 2 months left IMO.

see @xiaofan advice here:

https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...nly-plans-in-singapore.7167328/post-157724343

depending on which profile you belong to.., can sign up at different junctions.

A) For Singtel SIM Only Plan users with 12 months contract, usually you can recontract with the S$15.28 per month plan link at the 10th month or 11th month.

B) For Singtel Mobile plans with 24 months contract, you may have to try the recontract only towards the end of the contract, say two weeks before.

C) For Singtel SIM Only Plan users without contract, you can try the S$15.28 per month link after finishing one month or two months. YMMV even though there are some successful stories.

anyway, I'm still waiting for SingTel to correct the discount and send me the amended service agreement... mine was apparently erroneously discounted (-$10.19 instead of -$15.28)

IMHO.
My experience with Sheng Siong quite a while back, no need 5G, 4G also same peculiarity. I attribute to the placement of the shelves that maybe act like a Faraday cage. :ROFLMAO:

I think it is a good idea to get one from each provider.
Today I was at an underground carpark, my SIngtel 4G, M1 5G and SImba 4G all CMI - Eight 5G save the day. :ROFLMAO:

That's why I like the eSIM capable phones, can have multiple lines to switch around.

No more buying Hong Kong dual SIM iPhones.

Just to check if my understand is correct, I can load multiple eSIM profiles into a phone and "switch off" those profiles until i want to use right ?

Yes. Like my 17 Air without physical SIM slot and 17 Pro Max with 1 slot.

On the 17PM I can have either 2 eSIM running or 1 physical and 1 eSIM.

On the 17Air I can have 2 eSIM active while I turn off the others.

On iPhone, when I've 2 eSIM running and I try to turn on a 3rd line, it'll ask me which of those 2 lines I want to turn off.

IMHO ..... can leh .. on/off button are there to enable/disable the SIMs ... not happy can delete too haha !
Happy happy can also delete. Then right after that go...Alamak! :s13:

IMHO.
Good. Let me try to get one or two e-sim. (y)
Be careful whenever you turn an eSIM off, don't end up deleting Instead.

That's why I rather choose to turn on a 3rd eSIM first, then follow the option to choose the one to turn off. 👌

Happened to me a couple of times, when no or poor network then ganchiong to switch. Luckily I read the pop-up before hitting OK. :s13:
IMHO.
I use physical SIMs now but mulitple phone is quite challenging. If e-sim, can jammed into one phone.

Not so sure any one here sign up Singtel SIM Only 5G+ Enhanced or 5G+ Priority plans here with 15% discount (still much more expensive than the S$15.28 per month plan though).
