You check your contract agreement, even though they said 200 for 6month, but usually is 12 months
My Service Agreement stated 100 GB starting 28 September 2024 to 27 September 2025, and another 100 GB starting 28 September 2024 to 27 March 2025.

So that's 200 GB (100 GB + 100 GB) for 6 months and 100 GB for the remaining 6 months.

Did anyone have connectivity issues on the red line from city hall towards jurong east? Always cannot connect despite having some 4g signal, and most of the time dropping to H. Connection is terrible especially between stations

Yup, been encountering this on both singtel and zym. Thinking of porting out of singtel except just signed up for senior plan.

A portion of ST 4G network is being used by 5G NSA, so it is no coincidence that their 4G connectivity may suffer at certain areas and be worse than other telcos.

Continue with Singtel after your contract expires. You can click the following link about one or two weeks before contract expires.

1. Good offer
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/simonlyplus-form
12-month contract
200GB of data (for first 6 months), 100GB of data thereafter
FREE 8GB ReadyRoam Neighbours
1,000mins Talktime
500 SMS
FREE 12 months of 5G access
$20.37/mth

5. Good for low data usages.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/simonlyplusform
20GB of data
350 mins Talktime
500 SMS
12 FREE mths of Caller ID
$15.28/mth
has anyone tried recontracting 1-2 months before contract expire instead of waiting 1-2 weeks before, especially for the $15.28 plan since it looks new? Or they will just don't accept so u can keep trying

if recontract this way, can switch from sim card to eSim or not ah?

Singtel readyroam issues in Southern China, according to someone who told Tan Kin Lian

Someone told me a lot of problems he faced with phone calls and messaging despite purchasing a 1 GB roaming plan from Singtel. He couldn’t operate it when he reached southern China. I am afraid to face the same problems.
I had no problem with using Singtel Ready in Johor. I could order GRAB, reserve places in restaurants, receive phone calls via WhatsApp application. I am only worried about our using Singtel roaming data in China.
TKL replied.
According to Google, Singtel's roaming services in China generally work well, particularly with their 4G data roaming in partnership with China Mobile.
Singtel offers a DataRoam plan that provides unlimited 4G data usage for SGD 20 per day, which allows users to stay connected efficiently. The charge of $20 a day is excessive.
For a two-week stay in China, Singtel offers its ReadyRoam plan, which provides 1GB of data for 30 days at a cost of S$35. This appears to be very expensive, as the 1GB is the total for 14 days and will be used up quickly.
I am not familiar with SingTel. I obtained the above information from ChatGPT. I hope that the information is reliable.
I suggest that you get a Simba SIM card for senior for $5. It gives you 80 GB of local data and 3GB of roaming data free. You can use additional roaming data at a modest cost of $4 per GB. You may also terminate your SingTel line and reply entirely on Simba.
In my case, I will be using Celcom (Malaysian SIM) to get one month of roaming data in China for RM 118 (S$ 35).

Signed up online for the 1 month trial. They got back to me via WhatsApp. Apparently there's a $10.90 registration fee? And the CSO said all this while had this fee?

I'm pretty sure this isn't true right?

so here's my story, signed up yesterday for the trial, but missed the call from 1609 today.

called in 1609 and the person verified my details and told me will continue the rest of the sign up over whatsapp.

sent me this wall of text in which i noticed the $10.90, told her to check and she sent me the link to the T&Cs which state, i then informed her it's okay i won't be proceeding.

decided to fill up the trial form again, got another call back within 2 hours, asked the new lady about the 10.90 and she said no such thing. proceeded to sign up. esim sent to me, pending port in on Friday.

thank you patiently waiting. Here is order summary details:

Hmm....may i ask why do you want to pay S$30 for 60GB when the above S$20 give you >100GB? Or the changes don't work anymore?
