Not so sure what is the best way to go since the new Singtel SIM Only plan is also without recontract, not like last time with 12 months contract.

There is a loophole as per the reports in this forum. You can try it -- port in to the following free one-month Singtel eSim trial. Then click the offer link close to the end of the trial. YMMV.

I previously applied the ESIM trial and recently signed up for a $20.37 plan 3 days ago, but haven't received any updates. The trial is ending soon, so just sharing my experience as the email was saying within 3 working day. YMMV. (Update: successfully on the 20$ plan)

Singtel $20.33 plan will definitely accept you, else you do a jumpship, Singtel's 5G SA will feel unloved! LOL!

The offer is always there. 1688 is not a good one for Singtel SIM Only as far as I know.

Singtel got many different channels and they kind of compete with each other.

But no harm trying different channels: hidden offer links, 1688, Singtel Shop, WhatsApp, Facebook, Road show, etc.

As far as know, none of the offer is as good as the hidden link offer.

But I remember somebody managed to negotiate with Singtel and got one month free or things like that last time. You can try your luck.

1688 CSO offered me $20.37 package and refused to give anymore goodies. Can't make decision yet. I think that's the best she can offered and maybe her level can't offer more.

Personally I am happy with the S$20.37 SingTel SIM Only offer myself. I got two lines.

I have SingTel 5Gbps Fibre internet as well.

I just cancelled my SingTel TV this October (Feb 2012 to Oct 2024).

I have been with ST since the first day using hp. That's y not so easy to quit their service. I have Simba line now. But many said can't received OTP or received late. Unwilling to switch all apps hp number to Simba afraid facing technical issues don't know how to solve and no direct CSO to talk to.

I don't know how some people managed to get some goodies last time but I guess they had very good negotiation power, or they had both good negotiation power and more leverages.

People who want to go with SingTel SIM Only usually will consider the S$20.37 per month offer to be a good one.
If you have doubts, that most likely mean you may not consider this offer as that good. In that case, you may consider other providers who offer lower cost plans. As per the reports here, Starhub and M1 seem to catch up on the 5G coverage side. And SingTel may not offer any advantages on the 4G coverage with the deteriorated 4G coverage.
