Brian Cox says it best, even if we are able to travel at the speed of light, assuming we use 1 light year to reach the planet, we will not be able to come back to our own Epoc to tell anyone, because thousands of years may have past.

Very bored with some of the threads, thought about starting a space exploration and colonization discussion...
Feel free to start any space related discussion here (could be sci-fi as well!)...

Let's start off with a quick one, assuming that somehow Humans managed to discover a space propulsion that allows us to travel to nearby planets and stars very quickly and have the right technology to terraform or planet engineering, which planets (nearby or distant) do you think we should send our ships and will have the best shot?
Wait till 3I/Atlas arrives. Scully it's like Childhood's End?
