for lego i also go other shop as i notice airport there dont have what i want
so what i do is go TW post n do shipping but then again it troublesome to carry all the way there since it heavy (with multiple item)

The trick to lego is get from ishopchangi on way out, GST free and u can use vouchers; lowest price in the world when coupled with vouchers and rewards; even cheaper than US lego outlets. Only issue is have to haul it out and back. Did that as a favor for a friend for the bumblebee set..saved her $$$$$. Lego at TPE is CMI, don't bother. In fact, anything at TPE duty free is CMI.

NO leh. I carried a few sets out to Taoyuan. U must ask for the discount.
Sometimes iOpen also quite cheap.

Scan passport not so effective, that takes probably 5-10sec?
After clear, walk in scan face, fast fast to clear.

Another way is to bring along a huge foldable bag. Use it to bring back the barang barang. Haha.

Yes collect in Taiwan

Beware as some airlines count by pieces instead of consolidated total.

Taiwanese Airline pretty much similar with Chinese Airlines, count by pieces which is PITA.
If going with our SG carriers, much more convenient and wouldn't overlook this part.
