gonna get my first tattoo soon and had made an appointment.

need some advice on the process-
I have a rough idea of what I want but would like the tattooist to help custom design it.

We've agreed to correspond via email and I've sent him the features I would like in the tattoo. Will he sketch out the design prior the session and get my feedback? Or normally this will only be discussed during the session and be charged as part of the hours?

What's some of the pre and post care that I should take note?

i dont think any tattoo artiste will want to show you the design u want through email... they also scared wait they spend so much time to custom for u but u went elsewhere to ink instead...

so best is go down, talk to the artist, tell him u want this and that in your design, then give him 1-2 weeks to come up with something... after that u go down see if satisfied, if satisfied then book first appointment...

yeah that could be possible. but i did go down and made a deposit for my session. oh well, lets see how it goes then.

I've got 4 tattoos. The first one was actually done in Malaysia. After that, I did 2 tattoos here in Singapore over at Visual Orgasm. Just added a 4th piece recently at Familiar Strangers over at The Riverwalk and I'm very satisfied with the artist's work (Apple Qu). Bros intending to get inked can consider giving them a shot

compare to ribs, i would say ribs is more painful. getting feet tattoo means no jogging/running until it is fully healed, you dont want to get sweat on your tattoo. try to wear slippers at all times.
