Maybe half a season....each episode will show Kid Flash become the Flash...at the same time it will also show Barry's time in the Speed Force prison. Mid season cliff hanger, Barry escape from the Speed Force...

ya he will get out for sure, there won't be a flash series without the flash!

1st epi they will show Wally taking over Flash role, think by 1st epi ending they will have a way to bring Barry back, Wally cannot carry this show as main lead role

More likely Cisco will be carrying the show with Wells. Barry did inform Cisco they will all be looking up to him before Barry left. The 2 of them together with Jay will be mentoring Wally (and prob Jessie Quick since her dad will be hanging around for a while). So maybe the sappy love interest will divert to them instead (no more Barry and Iris)...with Joe and Iris being the overprotective father/sister instead.
Then each episode they will try and figure out a way to free Barry from the Speed Force while battling new enemies. They might still show glimpses of Barry learning new tricks while living his nightmare in the Speed Force. IMHO, he is still pretty weak in fighting bad guys and haven't reach his full potential.
