Hi, i never use instarem before and wondering is this instarem function like youtrip? HAve to put money in, then make a transaction before you can know the rate or its like ichange?
Its same like Youtrip. both are digital travel wallets.
For instarem = you deposit money via paynow into the digital wallet.
Say u deposit = $1000 SGD
your instarem wallet will show $1000 SGD
You can exchange the SGD to MYR in the wallet and keep it there. As and when you wanna use you can.
Or
You can keep it as SGD in the wallet, when you are in malaysia and you use the wallet. it will convert base on the current rate they offer.
What i like about instarem -
They always offer better rate of SGD to MYR
I can convert my SGD to MYR when i see the rate are good and keep it there.
Example: Last year when the rate was at 3.5 = you can convert say 5KSGD and keep it as MYR.. After which, even if the rate drop til 3.25.. you already grab a good deal..
And no. as of now, Instarem cannot transfer back the money to your bank account.
So those wanna transfer money back from digital wallet to bank got to stick to youtrip.
Instarem, trust, youtrip & revolut. Guys, which one you all use for RM? Which one offer the highest rate for RM exchange.
I only used before Youtrip and Instarem for RM.
So far, Instarem rate are always better than youtrip for RM.
