Anyone has the tng wallet app? Is it a must to give passport info to register? Also this app only can use in KL?

If you do Account Verification passport is needed.

Can use whole of MY & SG too if not mistaken.

Thanks bro what's the benefits of doing account verification? Don't verify also can use?
I presume so.

In my case I've the app but I don't have eWallet within. I did Account Verification. For me this is useful as if I lose my cards I can stop them from being used. My cards within are not auto top up, so this is another level to prevent misuse of my cards if I lose them. However usage is limited eg I can only tap to pay at Watsons, parkings but not many other places eg makan places.

Without eWallet, with only cards registered in the app, I cannot scan to pay.

My partner has the app too, with eWallet within but she didn't do Account Verification. She doesn't have any TnG cards registered within.

Her app/account only tracks her VEP...she doesn't use it to scan to pay.

For parking etc that allow tap card to pay, I give her one of my cards. Cards usages/balances I'm able to track via the app in my phone/account.

Ty bro I think rm200 like good enough for scan and pay for food already. Thanks bro
I recall that Account Verification is mandatory when linking the TnG Card with its app, but not mandatory for eWallet.

It is like no escaping ie if you register the cards with the app you will be asked to perform Account Verification.
