Just sharing this security thing I noticed with Revolut. Just now I dropped by Pizza Hut at Taman Molek to pick up the RM5.30 pan pizza I pre ordered online and the transaction was flagged for location security issue. Basically, the location I was at, paying with my iPhone Applepay doesn’t correlate with the location on the Pizza Hut Paywave terminal, so Revolut declined the transaction. This has happened maybe 2-3 times in the past 7 years I have been using Revolut.

There’s no risk actually, because Revolut will never allow the transaction to go through unless I turn off the location security feature. I end up paying with TnG because I was in a hurry. You can see from my screenshot the transaction request is sent from Petaling Jaya, when I was actually at Taman Molek.
