I wonder someone mentioned they can get same rate as money changer from credit card, really? I doubt. My HSBC bill being itemised, indicates the price both in SG and MYR. A check on the rate indicates an unfavourable rate. Several years ago, I charged y bill to CC and then after I came back, I calculated the difference is about 7%. Because I charged >$1.2K to the card, the difference is quite significant. Since then, I hardly charged anything to my CC when I am in MY.

If you are withdrawing cash with Maybank atm/debit card, no service charge. However, you need to activate overseas cash withdrawal option via the atm in Singapore, first.
