Just changed at arcade. 2.44 at most of the changer

Not high.. So long you change 100 and above you get these rates...

Arcade is already giving 244

The good rates are coming back!!! Quickly change before it starts to drop again during mid may onwards due to June School Holidays...

I have difficulty finding a good place to exchange Malaysia Ringgit.

The best rate I can find as of 4th November 2009 is $2.43 at that people's park place. I believe it should be better than this considering the interbank rate is now around $2.45xx.

Anyone know any place can exchange at $2.45?

YOu trust those rate? Not for people like us. Unless you have insider who can buy with that kind of rate. You will never be able to get those rate. Can wait ? MAS is going to let SG$ appreciate slightly faster to fight inflation.. So I suspect, SG$ will gain against the RM. Unless you are changing in huge amount, don't bother to go through the trouble for that minor difference.

If at Peoples Park, I'll normally change at that Ah Neh beside Poh Heng Jewellery. That well known Chinese stall's rate is no longer the best. Alternatively there is also another Chinese stall located right inside CK (opp Peoples Park). At times, his rate also quite competitive.

By the way, as what all have mentioned, SG seems to be getting stronger against RM again. I will change half of the RM needed now and see if the situation gets even better before my Jun trip.
