Careful when changing currency. Always ensure they give you a receipt. Last few months, I changed near Bedok interchange, opp MacD, the fella passed the money without receipt. I turned backed halfway and asked for one. He passed me the receipt with extra 3 ringgit. I looked at him and he can only offer an apology sheepishly. Looks like he's been siphoning on unsuspecting clients or those in a rush. Just sharing.

I can give 2.51-2.52 personally depending on how much you guys want to change (at least above 1k, anything lower and it's not worthwhile) but meet at a bank, don't want to kena robbed lol. In fact, i can consistently offer 0.02 higher than those offered by even the best money changer out there like those in The Arcade (just give me the snapshot of the best rate your can get outside and i'll try to beat it real time). Who want? :D

The very first thiing i learned when i got my 1st credit card is never withdraw cash with it unless absolutely neccessary. Are you sure this is the best way??

He just only know how to parrot other ppl.

Anyway to ans ur question, its only apply now because of the money changer afraid to give higher rate just in case ringgit raise back. U can use maybank n uob ATM to withdraw in Malaysia with maybank n uob ATM. No additional charges, I had tried it, the rate for maybank is 2.53.

seems like even banks are giving better exchange rates than the money changes whom many stubbornly stick to 2.495 or most 2.505.
