Of course. The Malaysian government mandates all credit card issuer banks in Malaysia to charge RM50 government fee per annum, per card, regardless if you use it or not.

Just went to sg branch. Errr.. u cannot "open" in sg but u can "submit application" form in sg. But he say he duno where his malaysia branch at. *facepalm* he tell me call jb

Oh my...I open applied for another account today at Raffles to test this out...I just quoted I wan the branch at City Square and he processed it immediately and told me account will be open in 4-5 days.

Thankfully for me i have another account so I dont have to freaking go to the Msia branch to collect ATM Card.

Rates at Arcade raffles is at 2.6050, Mustafa 2.595 CIMB SG is 2.6147.....Wondering should wait for a while more to see if it increases....

i can see you all are applying CIMB acc in malaysia and in singapore , to transfer $$ from singapore to malaysia account if the rate is good. Can it be done using May bank as well? ANyone try before?
