u can open a CIMB mYr/ SGD acct in SG But u need to find the right banker. its depend on the banker whether they willing to do the opening of CIMB myr for u. why ask qns when u wan put money in :p. for me my banker suck so need go myr open.

hey thanks. sorry, does it mean I can open a cimb msian bank account from their branch here in sg? ive a few bank acs in msia, both from their local n foreign banks. it is a painful process esp with banks like scb n hsbc. I'm not kidding. :(

I got CIMB atm card. Can go Jb to withdraw money from atm to get this rates?

I think you can, only from machines with the PLUS network or something. but be prepared to pay extra fees ($10 or something per withdrawal for some banks) n the exchange rate may not be good.
if u have time, check out dbs private client accounts. they dont charge fees for overseas cash withdrawals. n the exchange rates is ok, sometimes better than credit cards...

yes the banker managing the accounts is impt. sometimes luck I think. but some of the bank always send letter to inform me that a new person has been assigned, so kinda used to it after a few years... anyway, I'm talking to their assistants most of the time. so doesnt matter after awhile. :)

yes. but only requested banker who can help u open both SG n MY together. otherwise assign one not helpful then u need run to MY to open the acct

i see 2.84 exchange rate in xe, meaning exchangers should follow suit around that.
