how bout debit card?

For debit card, you can apply a CIMB Air Asia Savers account with your SG passport and an initial deposit of RM 250.
They will give you a debit Mastercard linked to the account.

The annual fee for the debit card is RM 15.90.

Anybody withdrew cash before using DBS/POSB debit/ATM card at Msia ATMs before?

I withdrew RM 1500 at a Maybank ATM using Maestro and the receipt put SGD 514.05 as the amount.
I checked Ibanking, there is a fee of $5 which I am aware of but they deducted SGD 534.17 for the RM 1500 instead of SGD 514.05.

Anybody knows what are the extra charges of $20.12 about ?
I posted in the JB thread but nobody replied.

The amount withdrawn at overseas ATMs is subject to a charge imposed
by the respective card associations either as a reimbursement charge
representing the charge imposed on us or as a direct charge to you. For
overseas cash withdrawal transactions converted by Visa/MasterCard
associations, a conversion factor of 1% is applied on the converted
amount. For overseas cash withdrawal transactions converted by
UnionPay, a conversion factor of 0.6% is applied on the converted
amount. In addition, an administrative fee of up to 2.65%, or at any other
such rate as determined by us and notified to you, on the converted
Singapore dollar amount for the services provided or actions taken by us
in relation to such overseas cash withdrawal shall be payable by you and
debited from your Card Account. Total administrative fee and fees for
conversion factor shall not exceed 3.25%.

Taken from POSB website

From my understanding, you will be charged the $5 + a certain percentage based on the above

If the cap is 3.25% then it should not exceed $16.71 but I was charged $20.12.
I have sent a message in ibanking to ask for a breakdown of charges.
