Someone mentioned (in the ST report article) that the train was tilted when it stopped moving abruptly when it was travelling from Outram Park station towards Tiong Bahru station.

i was insai EWL R151 suppose to come out change to CCL then i smell the burning smell i faster run back in.

No, the train was (reversed) travelled back to Outram Park station. What happened to that particular train wasn't mentioned in the article (yet).
