PSP is currently a magnet for senior newbie:
As of now, there is no official data published on the average age of all new candidates contesting in Singapore’s 2025 General Election (GE2025). However, based on available information, we can estimate the average age for some parties:
People’s Action Party (PAP):
From a list of 27 new PAP candidates with known ages, the average age is approximately 41.3 years.
Workers’ Party (WP):
For WP, among the new candidates with known ages, such as Jackson Au (37) and Abdul Muhaimin Abdul Malik (35), the average age is approximately 36 years.
Progress Singapore Party (PSP):
Information on the ages of new PSP candidates for GE2025 is limited. In GE2020, PSP’s new candidates had an average age of 52.5 years, but current data is insufficient to determine the average age for GE2025.
Please note that these figures are based on available data and may not represent the complete slate of new candidates for each party.
